| Dolphins QB Chad Henne Clarifies His Comments On Tim Tebow | | | Dolphins quarterback Chad Henne wanted it to be made clear: he likes University of Florida quarterback Tim Tebow personally, likes how hard Tebow's working at satisfying criticisms of his mechanics and doesn't know what kind of NFL quarterback Tebow will make. Before taking part in an Athletes in Action charity golf event at Inverrary Country Club Friday, Henne said his comments on a Wednesday afternoon WQAM radio show about Tebow were ``blown out of proportion.'' "I didn't really say he wasn't able to be one,'' Henne said. `"We're all in this process, learning how to be an NFL quarterback. Obviously, he's taken the right steps to improve his game. His throwing motion actually looks a lot better with his release and everything. I think his Pro Day went really well and he was happy with it. I can't really say anything. My quarterback coach from college [Scott Loeffler] is coaching him in college. We're coming from the same people. He's obviously learned form a lot of good people. And with Urban Meyer up there, he's learned from the best. "Those were way out of proportion, `he's not going to be an NFL quarterback,' '' he continued. "Wherever he goes, he's going to make that team better because he's such a competitor and a great person." Source: Miami Herald Latest Headlines on GridironFans.com: | | |
