Ex-Lions LB Larry Foote Sees Big Things From DeAndre Levy

Larry Foote , who rejoined the Steelers as a free agent this week, says he expects big things from DeAndre Levy , his likely replacement as the starting middle linebacker. "Trust me, there's nobody in that building that knew linebacker play better than me, and I knew once I saw him that he was gonna be a good player," Foote said Wednesday. "As long as he continues to progress, he's gonna be a great player. I hope he has 10 times as much success as I had. He better." Ernie Sims and Julian Peterson are the other returning starters, but Foote also thinks another young linebacker deserves a shot. "One person I think they're sleeping on is Jordon Dizon ," he said. "I think he has a bright future. I hope he gets an opportunity there."

I think it's funny that foote thinks he knows linebackers better then anybody in that building, peterson has been a very successful player in this league, and scwartz(don't know if that's how you spell his name) their head coach has been known to have great defenses so I'm sure he knows a thing or 2 about linebacker, how many pro bowls has foote been in? i don't think any but julian peterson i think has been in some
