Oklahoma State WR Dez Bryant To Visit The Cowboys On April 1st

Oklahoma State wide receiver Dez Bryant, whose draft stock is uncertain, will visit the Dallas Cowboys' practice facilities at Valley Ranch on April 1, according to multiple sources. Bryant will have a personal workout for NFL teams March 30 in his hometown of Lufkin, Texas, before going to Valley Ranch. Bryant, projected to be the first wide receiver taken in the upcoming NFL draft, did not work out at the NFL scouting combine or at Oklahoma State's pro day because of a recent hamstring injury, which has given several teams pause.

Bryant isnt even close to the Top 3 next year, and none Green/Jones/Floyd touch Johnson, and probobly not better than Baldwin either. However he is a much better prospect than Bowman who was at best a fring 1st rounder before his tumble into oblivion. All Bowman really had to offer was that he was big and physical. Basicly a TE playing WR

Bryant overall is much more athletic than Bowman was, even if the timed speed is somewhat comparable (altho Bryants is about par with that type of WR, and Bowmans would have made him a marginal pass catching TE)

That being, Bryant does have a big bust potential. But if he slips to 27, I dont see how you can pass on a guy with top 10 talent
