Eagles Cut WR Kevin Curtis

Kevin Curtis has been cut by the Eagles, according to Adam Caplan's twitter page. The move is not surprising as Curtis had trouble staying healthy, and the Eagles are well-stocked at receiver with rising stars DeSean Jackson, Jeremy Maclin and Jason Avant but Curtis should still find work with another team though.

exactly, they couldn't cut curtis, reggie brown or andrews last year because of the cap.

no issue with anyone they have cut yet.

at the beginning of the year yes but by years end they had less than $550k in cap space. check the 2009 numbers.
Philadelphia Eagles Salary Cap -- Current Year Cap Values

it would have cost them over $10mil if they cut all three last year.

they saved between 94-96 million of total salaries and bonuses by cutting all the guys they have so far.
