Running Back Shonn Greene said that he’s fully recovered from left rib cartilage damage suffered early in the third quarter of the Jets’ 30-17 loss to the Indianapolis Colts in the AFC Championship game. He likened the injury to the rib cartilage damage that he suffered on his right side during the second preseason game against the Baltimore Ravens. Greene said that team trainers outfitted him with a “rib protector plate” during the AFC title game, but he was still having trouble breathing and bending at the waist, so he didn’t get the green light to return.
