Eagles Won't Match Titans Offer For Free Agent DE Jason Babin

The Eagles won’t match the Titans’ offer for free agent defensive end Jason Babin, according to a team source. Even though Babin is an unrestricted free agent, the Eagles put a clause in his contract that allowed them to match any offer within seven days. Tennessee offered a one-year, $1 Million contract for the 29-year-old.

Wow....the Eagles are cheap.

He's definately worth $1M for a year as a rotational backup end.

Unless the think Tapp can play all downs (he can't)

Dude.

You can hate the Eagles. That's fine. But don't post shit like 'the Eagles are cheap' because they won't sign Babin for a mil. We've got Trent Cole, Juqua Parker, Darryl Tapp, Darren Howard, and Victor Abiamiri. They're all making well over one million. He is not needed.

He's better than Parker, Howard and Abiamari.

I'm looking out for the Eagles. I think they have a superbowl winning team if they subtract a few pieces.

Lol.

Babin? Jason Babin is better than Parker? I liked the dude, don't get me wrong, but he looked decent only because he took ten snaps a game. I wouldn't say he's close to Parker, perhaps Howard. I'd be willing to let go of Abiamiri but the coaches love him for some reason.

Either way, he'd be playing 4th or 5th on the depth chart, so doesn't really matter.

He's the reason the Chiefs got into double-digit sacks two season ago. I think he went to them late season and got 4 in 3 games or something silly.

I don't rate Parker at all. So yeah, Babin.
