Agent David Canter reports via twitter that his client, free agent running back Quinton Ganther, has signed with the Seattle Seahawks. Ganther visited with the Seahawks on Wednesday. He'll be joining a crowded back-field in Seattle that also includes Julius Jones and Justin Forsett.

I'll take it if we gain 4 yards per carry instead of doing a Justin Forsett screen pass every time we need a running play.

I'm not saying it's a bad idea, I actually think it's a good idea. That way when it gets to the second half and the D is all tired and you got all these runningbacks fresh and ready to go, good night.

I still hope Forsett gets the lion's share of carries out of the guys we have now. If we can draft one of the guys I like in the draft - Anthony Dixon, Deji Karim, Joique Bell and Keiland WIlliams (I think the top end of the draft class is WAY overrated) - in the 4th-5th range, then we should have a good 1-2 punch with the others just helping out with fatigue.

Deji Karim, Southern Illinois. Mark it down.
