Georgia Authorites Have Yet To Meet With Ben Roethlisberger
Posted By: BigBlueBruiser 03-16-2010 , 06:00 PM

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, who had a sexual assault allegation filed against him last week in Milledgeville, Ga., has yet to meet with authorities there, according to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation special agent in charge of the case. "The Georgia Bureau of Investigation has not interviewed Ben Roethlisberger yet," said special agent Tom Davis told ESPN's Kelly Naqi on Tuesday. "We interviewed a majority of people that were in his group on Saturday in Georgia. I will not say who from his group we interviewed but we have not spoken to Ben yet. His lawyer has not made him available. [Roethlisberger's attorney Ed Garland] has cooperated in every way, with the exception of the interview." NFL.com reported on Tuesday that Roethlisberger and others who were with him the night of the alleged incident were interviewed by the GBI on Saturday in Georgia. When asked if the NFL.com report was true, Davis told Naqi in an e-mail, "Not entirely." Davis wrote, "The GBI and Milledgeville Police Department did interview a number of the individuals [on Saturday] that were with Ben the night the incident allegedly occurred. We have not been allowed to interview Roethlisberger."

It shouldn't matter at all, do some f'ing police work and actually talk to the only suspect, it's not like they're sifting through interviews an eliminating people..no excuse for not speaking to te guy, none at all.
