Seahawks Release SS Deon Grant

Adam Schefter of ESPN reports via twitter that the Seattle Seahawks have released starting strong safety Deon Grant. The Seahawks signed Grant to a six-year deal worth more than $30 Million back in March 2007, then the third highest paid safety in the NFL. This move could trigger strong possibilities that the Seahawks could select Tennessee safety Eric Berry with the sixth overall pick in the 2010 NFL Draft.
