Ravens Re-Sign TE Edgar Jones To A 1-Year Deal

The Ravens today signed reserve tight end Edgar Jones to a one-year, $545,000 deal. He wasn't tendered by the team as a restricted free agent. After starter Todd Heap and Jones, plus practice squad player Davon Drew, a fifth-round draft pick a year ago, the Ravens are thin at the position.

Unacceptable if this is our idea of a backup tight end. Guy had more penalty yards than receiving yards and special teams tackles combined last year.
