Funny how it came down to the Vikings and Jets for LaDainian Tomlinson, because they just happened to be the two teams for which another former long-time one-team future Hall of Famer, Brett Favre, has played for since leaving Green Bay. Well, it turns out, a source told ace Newsday reporter Bob Glauber that Favre was involved in trying to convince Tomlinson to sign with Minnesota. Of course, those efforts failed when L.T. decided to accept a two-year deal with New York on Sunday.
