Eagles Unlikely To Net A High Compensatory Pick For Michael Vick?

There have been reports that the Eagles keeping Michael Vick in 2010 and being "rewarded' with a high compensatory pick for the 2011 draft. According to the NFL, compensatory picks are based on salary, playing time and postseason honors. Unless he's the starting quarterback, two of those three categories aren't favorable, and his $5-million-plus salary isn't exorbitant, either.

I think Vick has no shot at being anything ore than trash as a starting QB in the NFL. He is not mobile enough to control games with his legs anymore, and even if he was, QB's arent winning games like that these day's. Its all about Manning, Rothlisberger, Bree's, Romo, McNabb. Guys that will drop 300 yards and 3 TD's on you at will. Vick was never a passing game QB. Never had the recognition of the guys I listed or the accuracy.

IMO, he is no more than a shoddy scab QB nowadays. I dont think he can put up the numbers that would justify a 2nd or 3rd round comp pick. Im not sure the critiria, but I know stats and $ given compared to spent to replace you are major factors

They should have a great celebrtion in Philadelphia if they ever recieve a 5th round comp pick for Vic
