Patriots RB Kevin Faulk Unsure How Much Longer He'll Play

Kevin Faulk, re-signed to a one-year deal by the Patriots on Wednesday, said it’s hard to know how much longer he wants to play. The Pats’ all-time leader in receptions by a running back (418) is entering his 12th season with the Pats, and will basically take it as it comes the rest of the way. “All I know, it all depends how I feel, how my body feels,” said Faulk, who turns 34 in June. “It feels good right now. But that’s not saying what it’s going to feel like next year.” While locking up Faulk assured the Pats of keeping all of their significant free agents outside of Jarvis Green, Faulk knows the fandom is expecting a better showing this season than last, when the club exited the playoffs in the divisional round against the Ravens. “There’s always that. With this organization, that’s the way we’ve made it,” Faulk said. “Because we’ve been so successful, there’s so much expectations for this team. It’s no different than any other year. Hey, but that’s a good thing. When they stop talking about you, that’s when you need to worry.”

Um, Karen Guregian, it was in the wild-card round.

He has the most rushing yards by anyone without a 100-yard game. I wonder if he wants one or not.
