| Cardinals, Seahawks Both Discussing Contract With QB Charlie Whitehurst | | | The Cardinals and Seahawks are both discussing contract parameters this weekend with Chargers quarterback Charlie Whitehurst, a restricted free agent. The Chargers gave Whitehurst an original round tender, meaning they would receive a third-round pick in return should they not choose to match a team's offer for Whitehurst, drafted out of Clemson in 2006. The Seahawks don't have a third-round pick, so they would have to trade for Whitehurst while the Cardinals have two third-round picks and apparently are willing to part with one of them for Whitehurst.
