Ben Roethlisberger's Lawyer Hires A Private Investigator In Assault Case

An attorney for Ben Roethlisberger has hired a private investigator to look into a 20-year-old Georgia college student's sexual-assault allegation against the Pittsburgh Steelers' quarterback. Police in the college town of Milledgeville continue to investigate, but they have released little information since the accusation was made last week. Roethlisberger's lawyer, Ed Garland, said he has hired his own investigative team. "Any lawyer representing anyone needs to know all the facts so that he can perform his duties," Garland said.

Sounds like someone's gettin' nervous enough to get a PI to start going thru a certain someone's closet in search of skeletons to help muddy the waters...

"In 1972 a crack commando unit was sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn't commit. These men promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade to the Los Angeles underground. Today, still wanted by the government, they survive as soldiers of fortune. If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them, maybe you can hire the A-Team."

The moment i saw that his attorney was talking about hiring his own P.I i realized that this looks really really bad for him, specially since this is not a civil suit which can easily be settle out of court with a large settlement but he is being investigated of a crime.
I bet that Ben's P.I are gonna be digging into the girls love history and dig up so much dirt on her to make her credibility questionable, only because that's the only thing that could help Ben at this point.

He wouldn't need to hire a P.I. if he were just honest about what happened.
