The Kansas City Chiefs has agreed to terms on a one-year deal with free agent center Casey Wiegmann. Wiegmann, 36, was a starter for the Denver Broncos last season. Wiegmann originally played for the Chiefs for seven seasons from 2001-2007.

Yes! Now if we can just add a LT

we should be set.

push Albert 2 RT and find a good RG

and we are back 2 running over teams again.

Interesting that they brought him back. I'm beginning to think the Chiefs aren't going OT with the #5 pick. I'd say that McClain or Berry are the targets at this point. Trade down is probably their first choice though....if Bradford or Clausen is on the board then it'll be possible.

I'm glad that it was only for a year.

You've got to be kidding......

At 37, I would've said just go retire. I don't care how good he was with us back in the day.

He's part of the unit that is growing dude, there's not really anyone better available at this point is there?

I'm all about the youth movement, but it doesn't all happen at once; we need vets to teach these guys how to be nasty.

I think Casey on his worst day is better than Rudy whatshisname any day of the week. JMO, but I'm glad he's back.

I'm not sure Wiegman is even going to start.

He's 37 and his play dropped off pretty dramatically last year. He's not very big but he is experienced in zone blocking. I think we're going to draft a center and it will be an open competition between him and the rookie and Niswanger if they don't dump him.
