Both the Seahawks and Cardinals are mulling offer sheets for restricted free agent quarterback Charlie Whitehurst, according to league sources. Whitehurst, who has been the Chargers’ No. 3 QB, had impressive visits with Seattle and Arizona and could have an offer sheet within 48 hours. Both teams need help at the position and, in both cases, Whitehurst, who has yet to throw a regular-season pass in his four-year career, could have the opportunity to start.
