Free Agent OG Chester Pitts To Visit The Lions On Wednesday

Veteran free agent offensive guard Chester Pitts said Thursday night via Twitter that he is scheduled to visit the Lions on Wednesday. Earlier this week, Pitts, who spent the last eight seasons as a starter in Houston, told Sirius NFL Radio that Miami, Cincinnati, Detroit and Seattle were among the teams showing interest in him. He's still rehabbing from a serious knee injury that cost him most of the 2009 season, ending a streak of 114 consecutive starts.
