Eagles QB Michael Vick Plans To Let Current Situation Play Out

While most stories have been based upon whether Eagles quarterback's Donovan McNabb or Kevin Kolb will be with the team next year or traded, the team's third quarterback has made no attempt to hide his desire to play somewhere he can start. But now that his pleas have thus far failed, Michael Vick is trying to accept he has no control over where he plays next season. "If I'm in the same situation, I'll just have to suck it up and go out and play and listen to what Andy (Reid, Eagles coach) wants me to do and understand I'm there to play a certain role to try to help the Eagles win a Super Bowl," Vick said. "I can't be a disgruntled employee, because that's not who I am. The only thing I could do is express my concerns and let them know where I want to be, and they know I want to be behind center. I just have to let it all play out."

Can you blame a former starter from wanting to be one again?

no i don't. i do however find it offensive that he's out campaigning for it while still under contract.

anyone thinking Vick was the future of the Eagles is a hopeful NFC East fan (Giants / Cowboys / Redskins), because I think he would be a horrible #1 QB in Philly
