Chiefs Sign WR Jerheme Urban

Adam Schefter of ESPN reports via twitter that the Kansas City Chiefs have signed free agent wide receiver Jerheme Urban. Urban, a restricted free agent, was not tendered by the Cardinals. Urban will be reunited with Todd Haley, his former offensive coordinator in Arizona and current head coach in Kansas City.

Can't agree. Around here he earned the reputation of dropping passes in key situations and maybe unfairly earned the nickname "Skillet Hands". Also got some T-Rex arms going over the middle. That he was not tendered by the Cards is not a surprise at all considering WR depth.
That said, he'll be a welcomed addition to the Chiefs. A great team player, will make the occasional OMG catch and look for him to be a guy who makes that critical 3rd and long catch. Wouldn't be surprised at all if he flourished and earned the #3 under Haley. Glad to see him in the Red and Gold.

Haley bringing in one of his guys, this guy can be a poor mans Wes Welker if used correctly, and I mean a real poor man.
