She fell and hit her head that sounds really similar as to when there is domestic abuse and the wife comes back with a broken arm and the husband says oh she fell down the steps.

seems like the investigation is moving quickly enough. the alleged victim has done all the right things and they'll have ben's dna likely to compare to dna found on the alleged victim or at the scene. i think an arrest seems likely.
