ESPN's Adam Schefter is reporting via his Twitter page that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have acquired wide receiver Reggie Brown from the Philadelphia Eagles for a 6th round pick in the 2011 draft. Brown was drafted by the Eagles out of Georgia in 2005. Brown played in 14 games last year for the Eagles registering just 9 catches for 155 yards.

That's dead weight off the Eagles team. I know alot of Eagles fans who are rejoicing right now.

A 6th round pick for that guy?!? Reggie Brown ain't worth an 8th round pick.

Just the Bucs being the Bucs, I guess.

how does this move affect avant in the slighest ? brown was behind avant on the depth chart.

great move by the eagles. not only on the draft pick but dropping the salary.

I'd say nice move for both teams. Reggie has abilities and alot of miles left but his time here in Philly was clearly over. IMO a sixth is appropriate.

brown was still getting his looks. just shows that the Eagles are even more committed to Avant continuing to have an increased role. this along with this 5 year deal is some great news.

you on the other hand smeagle need to chill.
