Adam Schefter of ESPN reports via twitter that the Kansas City Chiefs have scheduled a visit with free agent running back Thomas Jones on Monday. The Jets officially released Jones on March 5th after he refused to restructure his contract and the team didn't want to pay his $3 Million roster bonus. Chiefs coach Todd Haley has said that he wants to add another running back to complement Jammal Charles.

I like this move...just need to get him for a reasonable price. He's getting up there in age but he's coming off the best year of his career and keeps himself in great shape.

Chiefs made a great decision in releasing LJ. Jones would be a good acquisition as long as they don't overpay.

If we're drafting O Linemen then this won't piss me off if we sign him.

I agree. We shouldn't have to overpay for a backup RB.
