Ravens Reaching Out To Free Agent QB Todd Collins

Sports Illustrated expects the recently released Todd Collins to land somewhere fairly soon if he still wants to play. Collins, 38, was part of the 10-man roster purge executed by the Redskins on Thursday, but by Friday the Ravens had already reached out to Collins in the form of offensive consultant Al Saunders. Saunders was Collins' offensive coordinator both in Kansas City and Washington, and Ravens offensive coordinator Cam Cameron helped coach Collins at the University of Michigan in the early 1990s.
