Quarterback Jim Sorgi’s throwing shoulder is fine, but if he’s going to use it, it won’t be with the Indianapolis Colts. “The Colts informed us today that they will be releasing Jim Sorgi at 4 p.m.,” Sorgi’s agent, Matt Brei wrote in an email to the Star. "They gave us no reason at this point.” The reason might be the $275,000 roster bonus the Colts would have owed Sorgi on the fifth day of the league year, which began today. Sorgi, who backed up starter Peyton Manning the past six seasons, was due to earn $1.08 million in 2010.
