Ravens Restricted Free Agent SS Dawan Landry To Visit The Seahawks

Four-year veteran strong safety Dawan Landry will visit with the Seattle Seahawks, according to a league source. The Ravens placed a second-round tender on the restricted free agent this past week, meaning if the Seahawks are serious about adding him, they'll have to give up a draft pick to Baltimore as compensation. Landry, who was drafted by the Ravens in 2006, recorded 89 tackles (70 solo) and four interceptions in 16 starts for Baltimore in 2009.

I don't think this guy is worth a second rounder personally, especially seeing as we have much more glaring needs than upgrading at SS. Like, I don't know, a QB and an OL?

I'll take a second rounder for Landry. Assuming Reed returns, we have Reed and Zbikowski starting with a hopefully healthy Nakamura serving as the third safety. Then trade that pick (or our original second round pick) to Arizona for Boldin.

You better hope that Brandon Marshall doesn't end up signing with you guys because you'll have to give up a 1st! If I were Pete Carroll, I would try to draft Jimmy Clausen and a Tackle. Then sign Antonio Bryant for the low.... Dawan Landry would be a perfect fit for you guys IMO.

**********Automerged Doublepost**********

Michael Huff as well... (If Al Davis puts him on the block)
