The Indianapolis Colts and linebacker Gary Brackett came to an agreement on a contract Friday morning, according to ESPN's Adam Shefter. Shefter reports (on Twitter) that it's a five-year deal but as of right now, it's not known how much the contract will be worth or what the guanrateed dollars will be. The Colts brass and Brackett were negotiating well into the night last night, according to the Indianapolis Star.

Seemed like a no brainer that Brackett was going to stay with the Colts since he didn't want to play anywhere else.

This will probably be Brackett's last contract seeing he will be 34 when this deal expires and IF he sees all of it.

Contracts these days mean nothing except for the signing Bonus and the Guarantee money. At this point the years are worthless

If Brackett stays healthy and productive, I see him seeing all 5 years of that deal.
