| No Deal Yet Between Packers, OT Chad Clifton | | |
Offensive tackle Chad Clifton officially became an unrestricted free agent, and, according to a source, contract negotiations were done for the night. It's possible the two sides will pick up where they left off Friday. The Packers have made it a priority to get the 33-year-old Clifton under contract so that they will have stability at the left tackle position but Clifton has indicated he would like to play three or four more years, and it doesn't appear the Packers are willing to offer the upfront money commensurate with a long-term deal.
