With the core of the defense coming back, Bengals defensive coordinator Mike Zimmer would like to see some measured improvement from some players starting with linebacker Keith Rivers, who finished second in tackles with 101. “He’s got to do better in the passing game than what he is in both rushing and coverage. I’ll settle for coverage right now,” Zimmer said. “We have to be better in zone coverage. The linebackers don’t have good concepts in the passing game and we need to do a better job there.”
