| Browns, Ex-GM George Kokinis Reaches Settlement | | |
Following George Kokinis being ousted from his general manager post by the Cleveland Browns last season after disagreements with coach Eric Mangini, he filed a grievance and now its been settled. Kokinis had roughly $4 million remaining on his contract, but the financial details of the settlement weren't disclosed. The NFL issued the following statement today. "The grievance filed by George Kokinis against the Cleveland Browns has been amicably resolved. The terms of the settlement are confidential. Mr. Kokinis and the Browns each wish the other future success."
