On March 5, Buccaneers wide receiver Antonio Bryant becomes a free agent after playing 2009 under the franchise tag and the Tampa Tribune has learned there is very little going on between Bryant and the Bucs. The two sides are likely to have conversations during this week's NFL Combine in Indianapolis, but the lack of any substantive talks to this point means there's a long way to go if a deal is going to be struck. Bryant says he wants to stay in Tampa but if the Bucs let Bryant make it to free agency, they had better be prepared to see him walk away.

signing him would be a much better move than stallworth. do that, draft one in the first or second round, and then we'll have something to talk about with mason, bryant, stallworth, washington, etc.
