Panthers linebacker Thomas Davis said last week he's really looking forward to this Monday's workout. Davis, who suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee on Nov.8 at New Orleans, will run on grass for the first time since his injury. "That's going to be huge," he said. "Considering the way I've spent the last 12 weeks, Monday's going to be huge." Davis said he hoped to "participate in some way" during the team's organized team activity this summer, but the Panthers traditionally have held the reins back on rehabbing players. "This sounds crazy, but I feel like I can come back faster," Davis said. "I know it won't slow me down one bit. When you have this kind of injury, you're focusing so much on the muscles, making sure everything's strong so you can come back. Definitely, my goal is to run faster than I was going in."
