The Carolina Panthers' long-awaited decision on defensive end Julius Peppers is due this week and, barring a surprise, his eight-year tenure with the team may be nearing an end. NFL teams must decide by Thursday whether to use their franchise or transition tags on their potential unrestricted free agents. Though the Panthers used the franchise tag to keep Peppers last season, they're widely expected to allow him to test the open market and pass on making the $20million tender offer for 2010 that would accompany franchising him again.
They have not been able to win with him on the team and they have had to pay him a pretty hefty check so just let another team try to see what he can do in a new uniform. I mean the guy obviously doesn't want to be playing for them and when you have an unhappy player playing he is not gonna give you 100% so let him go where he wants to go and where he is wanted and let the magic happen
