| Lions Lower 19,000 Season Ticket Prices | | |
The Detroit Lions announced today that 2010 season tickets are now on sale and that a significant portion, approximately 19,000 seats, will cost less than they did last season. The team also indicated that pricing on all other season tickets will remain the same. "We are very appreciative of the extraordinary support of our fans," said Lions President Tom Lewand. "Their passion for this team is among the best of any professional sports franchise. Over the past two seasons we have offered several ticket options with the hope that more Lions' fans will have the opportunity to attend games at Ford Field. We believe this is another positive and more affordable option for our fans." Depending on seat location, season ticket holders will realize a savings of $10-40 per ticket compared to the cost of single game tickets which won't be on sale until August. That's a savings of between $100-400 per season ticket. "Season ticket holders are critically important to us and we want to treat them accordingly," Lewand said. "They provide us with a tremendous foundation of support. We are pleased to be able to offer them such significant savings on their season tickets."
