Miami Dolphins defensive lineman Tony McDaniel's recent domestic violence arrest wasn't an isolated incident as according to the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, McDaniel's girlfriend, Alaina Smith, said that McDaniel "pushed her and grabbed her" in November. McDaniel told police that Smith confronted him after he stayed out late at South Beach nightclubs, smacking him in the face but he declined to press charges, though. Smith called police in October and expressed concern that McDaniel would change the locks to her home without her approval.
