Seahawks offensive tackle Sean Locklear has an escalator clause in his contract that would pay him more if he plays a significant amount of snaps at left tackle. Its not certain if Walter Jones was serious when he "tweeted" that he was retiring. If Jones does indeed retire, Locklear could bridge the gap at left tackle while Seattle grooms a potential rookie at the position.
