Though the New Orleans Saints were likely a bit disappointed in having to punt for each of their first two possessions, they did win a small battle when downing Thomas Morstead's punt on the Indianapolis four yard line. Instead, all they did was pad the Colts' offensive statistics as Peyton Manning led his offense on a 96-yard drive, concluding with a 19-yard touchdown strike to Pierre Garcon. The 96-yard touchdown drive tied the Chicago Bears long-standing record that they set in Super Bowl XX against the New England Patriots.
