Packers Won't Franchise Tag LB Aaron Kampman

Green Bay Packers linebacker Aaron Kampman becomes an unrestricted free agent in March. The Packers aren’t expected to put a tag on him since Kampman is rehabbing from major knee surgery, though they could re-sign him if Kampman doesn’t get the contract he is seeking elsewhere. One big factor to keep in mind: Kampman is a better defensive end in the 4-3 than he was as an outside linebacker in the 3-4 this past season.

i agree. and if his skill set and desire doesn't fit with a 3-4, they SHOULD let him walk to go play in a 4-3 because they're better off without him.
