Louisiana Sen. David Vitter Challenges NFL On Who Dat Ban

U.S. Senator David Vitter from Louisiana has sent a letter to NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell protesting the policy banning the sale of Who Dat merchandise. Vitter says he intends to have Who Dat t-shirts printed and asked the NFL to please either drop their present ridiculous position or sue him. According to documents from the Louisiana Secretary of State's Office Who Dat was registered in 1983 to Steve Monistere and Carlo Nuccio for the purposes of selling records, tapes, t-shirts, and bumper stickers.

I don't see how he could win if it was registered back in 1983, and as WARD said earlier the NFL doesn't own colors...

Agreed but I was thinking more along the lines that they'd sue just for the sake of it. Their war chest is a lot larger & Vitter could lose even if he wins.
