During an appearance on ESPN’s “First Take,” Patriots cornerback Shawn Springs said he was pondering the possibility of retiring after 13 seasons in the league. Springs had signed a three-year deal with the team that had a base salary of $9.75 million. ”I actually feel like I can still play a lot, so I don’t know yet, I’m taking my time and I think every player should do that.” Springs said when asked on the show about the possibility of retiring.
