The Chicago Tribune reported that the Bears have reached out to former Rams head coach Mike Martz about their open offensive coordinator position. Armey, the former Rams boss, said this week that Bears coach Lovie Smith would shorten his career if he hired Martz and that Martz would "destroy" Bears QB Jay Cutler. The Bears fired former OC Ron Turner on Tuesday, Smith used to work for Martz as his defensive coordinator in St. Louis.
