Cowboys WR Miles Austin Suffers Thumb Injury

Miles Austin left FedEx Field with his left thumb wrapped but he said it was more precautionary than anything else. Austin said he suffered the injury on the last play of the first half and he finished with nine catches for 92 yards and has 74 catches for 1,230 yards on the season. He will find out Tuesday if he has earned his first Pro Bowl appearance. “It’s one of those things where if you get it, you get it,” Austin said. “If you don’t, you’ve still got to win games. The Super Bowl is our goal and my goal personally."
