Bears Jay Cutler Isn't Bothered By Criticism Outside Of Team

The criticism that Jay Cutler has received from outside Halas Hall for his lack of success this season has not bothered the Bears quarterback. Quarterback Jay Cutler and the Bears offense have struggled all season. "I don't worry about anybody's observations except for the people in this building," Cutler told reporters earlier this week. "Whatever you guys write and whatever you guys do, that's your deal. I can't get wrapped up in what's going on outside of this building." Cutler's 25 interceptions this season are the most in the NFL, Jared Allen admitted that he's surprised the Bears offense has struggled with Cutler at the helm this season, but the Vikings defensive end isn't taking anything for granted as he prepares for Monday night's game at Soldier Field. "I thought he would probably be a better fit for them, but those things happen," Allen said. "New offense, new system, new things, [and] Jay caught a few bad breaks with a lot of those interceptions. A lot of them bounced off of people and stuff like that. "It's still a very threatening offense and the capabilities that they have to make a big play with Devin Hester, and Cutler can run and he does well throwing off the run. Greg Olsen is having a good year."

With a 7.9 QB rating last game along with the rest of his inadequate performance, the only right thing for him to do is pay back a year's salary to the Bears organization. It's embarrassing to be paid the kind of money he is to play at that level.

I would assume so. If he took to heart what every other football fan and analyst said or thought, he woulda jumped off a building by now.

This is shaping up to be one of the top 3 worst trades of all time.

I dont believe it will be

I called when this trade went down that Orton would have a better 2009, simply because Orton is going to a system that play's to his strength's. Cutler is going to a team with an undeveloped skill position set. Bennett and Knox will eventually be quality WR's and when they are Cutler will be playing at a very high level again

Cutler is a feast or famine type......which doesnt fit McDanials system. With young WR's that arent accustomed to the NFL, whether it be concentration, route running, and all the other nuence's that make young WR's so inconsistant, there is gonna be alot of famine with Cutler

One of the three worst trades of all time? Come on! After one year, I wouldn't go that far.

Yup... Me and a co-worker were discussing this a while ago at work and he said that whole entire o-line needs to be replaced and I can't argue that. This was before Chris Williams was inserted into the starting lineup. Chris Williams into the starting lineup is a start. Let him get experience.
