| Bills FS Jarius Byrd Placed On Injured Reserve | | | Bills safety Jairus Byrd said he will have surgery to repair a hernia injury that has hampered him much of the season. Byrd had surgery in July to fix a sports hernia, but has had discomfort in the groin area during the season. Byrd, who is leading the league in interceptions with nine, was placed on the injured reserve list Wednesday. "They'll have to go back in there again," Byrd said. "It's already set up, so I'm going in [to] get that taken care of. ... I've been dealing with this for a while, and right now I'm just kind of thankful for the year I had, and I'm going to try to get better and come back next year better." Source: Buffalo News | | |
