Dolphins QB Chad Pennington Could Get Starting Job Somewhere Next Season?

The Dolphins could do a lot worse than having Chad Pennington return if he’ll accept a back-up role mentoring Chad Henne into quarterback maturity. The problem is that Pennington, if recovered from a shoulder injury, almost certainly will get an opportunity to be a starter somewhere, there will be a number of teams looking for a veteran quarterback.

Yeah he'll get a chance to start...... for the first few weeks before a younger player takes over

yeah, at a car wash, maybe. Nah, his career's over. Just a hunch. I don't see how he recovers and plays at the same level he was before the injury, at his age.

I could see him as a veteran stop gap for teams like the 49ers, Rams, Bills, and Browns. All teams i expect to draft QB's in april

He could mentor in St. Louis I get until Bradford, Clausen, or whoever they end up with is ready since I don't really see Bulger being there next year.

Henne will be the starter in Miami, Pennington will get some looks, he's a great manager of the game if asked to be.
