According to the New Orleans Times-Picayune, the Saints have waived cornerback Marcus McCauley. McCauley was strictly used for emergency depth and wasn't expected to stick around long. The Saints signed safety Herana-Daze Jones, who has more special teams experience, to replace him. Jones was signed by the Cincinnati Bengals as a college free agent on April 28, 2005. After spending the 2005 season on the Bengals' practice squad, he made the 53-man roster in 2006.
