Vikings Brad Childress, Brett Favre Dispute Has Been Festering

Interviews with six members of the organization revealed that Vikings coach Brad Childress ripped his offense during halftime Sunday and that he privately unleashed an expletive-laden outburst toward Brett Favre long after the game in the visitors' locker room. The focus Monday was on damage control, with Childress downplaying his sideline discussion with Favre and suggesting that the point of his "stream of consciousness" centered more on the physical toll his veteran quarterback was enduring than anything else. But all is not well between Brad and Brett, and the primary difference centers on the quarterback's penchant to check out of runs and into passes and according to one team member, Favre has expressed frustration for much of the season about Childress' unwillingness to let him audible more.

so you condone farve's behavior ? you think it's ok for a qb to tell his HC to basically go fuck himself ?

No, I was just kidding, it needs to be the coaches call, no matter how big of an idiot he is.

Childress may have done more damage in the locker room disrepecting the team leader.

1. childress new what he was getting when he went after favre

2. Favre has been outstanding for the majority of the season

3. Childress is a moron for wanting to take his team leader and team mvp to this point out of a 7 -6 game in the 1st half

4. no competitor worth a fuck would respond any differently than favre did on the sideline

1- makes no difference. the pats know it with moss, would they allow him to become this ?

2- farve is always outstanding at the beginning, it's the end of the year that's been an issue.

3- the issue has been the fact that farve is audibling out of running plays that the head coach has called. that is something you pull any player for.

4- how did brady act this year when he got pulled ?
