Veteran receiver Brian Finneran has been placed on injured reserve due to chronic knee problems. With just 32 catches in 26 games the past two seasons, Finneran, age 33, could be at the end of the line. Teams are always looking for veteran receivers to round out their receiving corps, but Finneran will likely have to fight very hard for such a role next summer.
