Titans C Kevin Mawae Plans To Play Next Season

Titans center Kevin Mawae battled back from elbow surgery to play his 16th season in the NFL, and he's already looking ahead to his 17th. What uniform he'll wear remains to be seen. Mawae is in the final year of a four-year deal with the Titans. "I am playing well this season. I am having a solid season, so I have no reason to want to retire,'' Mawae said Wednesday. "I still play with a passion and am still playing very good football. So I haven't given any thought to retiring at all. I understand the team has some decisions to make but hopefully what I have done here as a leader and on the field the last four years says something.''

he's right. he's still playing at a high level and if he thinks he has another good season in him and he feels like his body can handle it then, sure, why not?
