Giants DE Justin Tuck Says Defense Isn't Soft

Giants defensive coordinator Bill Sheridan doesn't think his unit has been physical enough this season. Justin Tuck begs to differ. While the Giants' defense has been pushed around for much of the last month, the defensive end isn't thrilled with the notion that his unit is soft in any way. "I disagree," Tuck said when told about Sheridan's comments. "Everybody has an opinion. Maybe I'm completely wrong by saying I disagree. But in my opinion I don't think that is the case.

As a Giants fan I can say they are soft and Justin Tuck is not playing to his potential.

yep, when a defense drops off as much as the giants have this year, obviously they aren't playing as intensely. however, i still attest that this is mainly scheme driven. teams have figured them out. they have failed to readjust.
